Charities

The Kingston Women’s Art Festival has a long history of providing funds to area programs and services for women and children. This funding support remains integral to the festival. Funds available for distribution are based on the financial success of each year’s event.

We encourage all non-profit organizations serving women and children to come out and support the Women’s Art Festival. A complimentary space will be made available for you to come to the festival, display your information, and talk to our guests about your services. Your help in promoting the festival will help both your cause and ours.

A total of $93,000 has been provided to our community since the inception of the festival. The following are some of the organizations that have received funding from the Women’s Art Festival:

  • Ban Righ Centre

How To Apply To Become A Beneficiary

To be considered for funding your non-profit organization must support women and children in the Kingston area. You must be present on the day of the festival to represent your organization at a booth and we require one of the following two commitments:

  • Your organization will supply 2 volunteers for a minimum of 3 hours on event day OR
  • Your organization will pay a reduced booth fee of $35

Booth spaces for non-profits are limited and this year will be placed alongside other vendor booths. Booth location is at the discretion of the Kingston Women’s Art Festival Committee. Application deadline for a booth/funding is April 10, 2020.

Nonprofits not looking for funding but wishing to promote their organization on event day may apply for a booth and pay the reduced booth fee of $35 if accepted.
